JUAN PARADELL SOLÉ (Italy), is the titular organist of the Sistine Musical Pontifical Chapel Choir and regularly performs at the liturgical celebrations conducted by the Pope at Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. For a long time he was also the main organist of Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore of Rome. J. P. Solé is a professor of organ and Gregorian chant at the Licinio Refice Music Conservatory in Frosinone. The organist is Honorary President of the associations "Settembre Organistico Fabrianese" and "Les Amis de l'Orgue Merklin d'Obernai". The organist studied organ with prof. Montserrat Torrrent at the Barcelona Music Conservatory. In 1973 he moved to Rome to continue his organ and composition studies with prof. mons. Valentino Miserachs Grau. Following his graduation in Rome he spent three years of specialization in Germany with prof. Günther Kaunzinger. J. P. Solé has an intense concert schedule including performances throughout Europe, Russia, Syria, Lebanon, United States, South America. He is a constant participant of important international organ festivals. He has recorded for the Italian national radio and TV as well as Vatican radio, German radio of Berlin, and others. He has also performed on Italian and Spanish TV programs.
