Born in South Korea Sunghyun Park (b. 1989) is now based in Germany. After finishing high school, he studied organ with Myung Ja Cho, Dong-ill Shin at the Yonsei University. On completion of his studies, Sunghyun studied at the Musikhochschule Musik und Tanz Köln under Winfried Bönig. He graduated with a Master's Degree with the highest grade and at the same place continued to study "Konzertexamen". He studied also at the CRR Paris "Cycle de Concertiste" under Christophe Mantoux. Organist became prize-winner of the Seoul, Kukmin-Youngsan Organ Competition, a second prize winner at the Deagu Organ Competition, special prize winner at the Korschenbroich International Organ competition. He has performed at Kölner Dom in Cologne, St. Aposteln and St. Pantaleon churches in Cologne, gave many chamber music concerts in Germany.
