Italian pianist and composer PIER FRANCESCO FORLENZA (Italy) is a piano professor at the Como Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory. He made his debut at the age of 11. Since then he has been performing both in recitals and with orchestra, in several prestigious locations and events, among which is worth to mention Palau de la Musica in Valencia, Conservatoire Royal in Brussels, Società dei concerti and Serate Musicali in Milan, Teatro Sociale in Como, Liepaja Piano Stars Festival, which he opened with Rachmaninov's third piano concerto. P. F. Forlenza has played with several conductors and instrumentalists like Marcello Bufalini, Tadeusz Wojciechowsky, Philippe Cassard, Marco Bronzi, Paolo Zordanazzo, Maurizio Grandinetti, Michele Lomuto. The pianist became the winner at numerous competitions, worth to mention Stresa, Messina, Osimo, Firenze, "Viotti Valsesia", etc; he was a semifinalist at the Bolzano Ferrucio Busoni and Brussels Reine Elizabeth competitions. Together with violinist Paolo Zordanazzo and cellist Alex Jellici, he founded the Matera Piano Trio that made its debut in Zurich in 2016. P. F. Forlenza also works as a composer. He has written several original soundtracks.
