Benjamin Goodman (1990) was born in Oxford, England. The pianist studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, in the class of professor Eitan Globerzon. He finished his studies with honors. He won the first prizes at the Academy’s Piano Solo Competition (2015) and the Piano Concerto Competition (2013). In 2017 Benjamin received the Steinway Award. The pianist has participated in masterclasses led by Lydia Artymiw, François Dumont, Eteri Andjaparidze, Dmitri Bashkirov, Arie Vardi, Malcolm Bilson, Emanuel Ax, Murray Perahia, Joseph Kalichstein, Matti Raekallio, Claudio Martinez-Mehner, Emanuel Krasovsky, Hung-Kuan Chen, Gabriel Chodos, Ilana Vered, and Joan Havill. Benjamin produced, presented and performed in a unique concert of Israeli Artists in Carnegie’s "Weill" Recital Hall (2016) and made his debut as a soloist there in 2017.
