International Stasys Vainiūnas Competition for pianists
In 2015 Tony Nguyen (1992) graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, the class of professor Søren Rastogi. In 2016–2017 he participated in the "Erasmus+" program and studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with the professor Aleksandra Žvirblytė. Currently, Tony is continuing his studies at the Ingesund School of Music, the class of professor Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist. Amongst the most important achievements it is wort mentioning the first prize at the International Competition-Festival "Music without Limits" in Druskininkai, the first prize in "Steinway" Piano Festival in Denmark and the Talent Prize from the Danish Musician Union. The pianist has participated in masterclasses led by Mikhail Voskresensky, Jacques Rouvier, Eugen Indjic, Ferenc Rados, Bart Berman, Veronika Vitaite, Andrzej Jasinski, and Kevin Kenner.
